About World Time Map
A live map of every time zone on Earth, coloured by UTC offset, with a page for every country.
Most time zone maps stop at one country or update only when you reload. World Time Map paints the whole world, one colour per UTC offset from UTC−12 in the west to UTC+14 in the east, and every clock ticks to the second. Each city carries its zone’s colour wherever it appears.
What you can do here
- Tap any zone on the map for its time, offset and daylight saving status.
- Search 34,204 cities and pin the clocks you check every day.
- Plan a call with the converter, which finds hours when everyone is at work.
- Read the time zones of all 247 countries and territories on the country pages.
Where the data comes from
Clock rules come from the IANA tz database (release 2026f), the same source your phone uses. Zone boundaries come from timezone-boundary-builder (release2026f), built on OpenStreetMap. Cities come from GeoNames; country outlines from Natural Earth. The site is rebuilt as new releases appear.
Accuracy
Every clock corrects for an inaccurate device clock using our server’s time. Daylight saving changes apply automatically. If you spot something wrong, tell us on the contact page.
